Leupold’s VX-III took the place of the old Vari-XIII with some improvements to an already impressive scope. Some of the changes include improved light transmission and an ocular lens with a focus that is much faster than the old Vari-XIII. They also included finger adjustable turrets that are much easier to use.
One major change that many hunters appreciate is Leupold’s Ballistic Aiming System reticle and a side-focus parallax adjustment. This handy little item allows for the windage to be corrected while you’re hunting in a crosswind.
